1969 Mid-Century Modern Cognac Leather Barcelona Chair by Mies Van Der Rohe

This is a wonderful example of the iconic "Barcelona Chair" designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and manufactured by Knoll International in 1969. Chair features its original cognac brown leather cushions and back straps. Seat straps have been replaced with correct size/weight, color-matched straps. This is a highly desirable color and it really sets this chair off!

Knoll Associates changed its name to Knoll International in 1968 and moved its offices from 320 Park Ave to 745 Fifth Ave, New York in 1970.... So likely made in 1969 (give or take a few months).

Good.  Replacements made: Seat Straps have been replaced. Wear consistent with age and use. On very small pin-head size blemish to seat (see last photo).
