Rare Art Deco executive desk designed in 1984 by Pierre Paulin for Baker Furniture. Desk features bird's-eye maple with walnut inlays, chocolate-brown, leather-top writing surface and unique Art Deco Revival lines. This desk was based on a desk designed for the office of French President François Mitterand at the Palais de l'Élysée in 1983. This is an outstanding example of an Iconic 1980s French design!

Condition:
Good. Repaired: A few minor blemishes to leather top and patches to maple veneer (see photos). Wear consistent with age and use. Very nice, lightly restored condition preserving the original finish.
